Raise the Flag

As we move into the summer months, flags become even more important and are an invaluable way to demonstrate pride and commitment to a cause, charity, company and yes, even our beloved country.
At any outdoor summer gathering you will see them flying and flapping in the wind, drawing your eye and attention to them and you! Given the demand we are now in high gear with flag sales at MOBO.
We do field many common questions about flags, regardless of their shape or size. As such, we thought we would share some details regarding the construction of flags to better illustrate the options available.
The first decision to make is what type of flag you need...
Do you have a booth at an outdoor show that you need to stand out at? Perhaps then a feather flag with ground stakes would be best. They come in a variety of shapes and heights.
The higher height requires more stability and weight in the anchoring of the flag. Our vendors also sell weighted bases that you can fill with water or sand in addition to the standard ground stakes. There are also metal bases available that not only provide stability but they can also allow the sign to rotate in the wind.
If you need a standard flag, it can be mounted on a pole with a side-seam pocket or attached at the top or all four corners using grommets or D-rings. Our vendors can provide any flag finish you require.

Now, for the biggest decision…single-sided or double-sided?
The quick answer is that single reverse flags read correctly on the front and appear mirrored on the back. Double-sided flags read correctly on both sides. Single reverse flags are naturally lighter because they are only one layer, versus three and thus more economical. The double-sided option is much better when you have text, logos or two-directional viewing.
